A Legacy of Professional Voice Acting Insights & Industry Evolution
2019 was a year of "Holism": the realization that a voiceover career is not just a job, but a complex ecosystem of craft, business, and personal life. From celebrating my marriage to dissecting the macro-trends of a rapidly changing industry, this archive documents my journey through a year of massive growth and intentional branding.

Key Topics and Career Milestones from 2019
The Craft of the Storyteller
In 2019, I focused heavily on the physical and technical demands of the booth. I explored Narration Technique and the growing field of App Narration, while also addressing the vital importance of Vocal Health and managing Physical Tension during long sessions.
Community & Continuous Education
A 20-plus-year career requires a "beginner's mind." This year’s training highlights included Johnny Heller’s 5th Annual Workshop and the high-energy environment of VO Atlanta. I also shared a look into my booth tech with a deep dive into Managing Your DAW and using Voicezam.
Personal Milestones: Love & Legacy
2019 wasn't all business. The biggest highlight was undoubtedly Getting Married, a reminder that the "silent" life of a narrator is fueled by a very loud and joyful personal life. I also continued my "look back" series, reflecting on the lessons learned during my 2014 career cycle.
