You heard me. I LOVE Fiverr.
And I’ll tell you why…
Last week I got an email from a guy asking for a quote for an Explainer Video. And yes, I asked him how he found me. Hello, analytics anyone? Anyway, I gave him a quote and he sent me the script. I reviewed the script and noticed there were a number of grammatical errors. I proofed the script and sent it back with corrections. This is how he replied:
Your edits are all fantastic, thank you so much! Thank god I’m working with you – I originally tried to get this done via Fiverr… well worth the coin to have a real professional work on this and I appreciate you making those edits very much.
That’s why I love Fiverr; it makes the pros look pro-er and the shmos look shmo-er.
TIP OF THE WEEK
There are “voice talents” out there who use Fiverr to ply their trade. Some of them actually charge five dollars for their services. Five…dollars.
This here is the easiest Tip I’ve ever given: don’t use Fiverr to hire voice talent. You will get exactly what you pay for.
