I had two beagles when I was a kid: Pumpkin and Cracker.
That's my brother with Pumpkin
So when I found out I got cast to narrate a PSA for The Humane Society featuring the 4,000 beagles that were rescued from a lab in Virginia, that meant a lot to me. A lot.
FYI all 4,000 beagles found a home which is an amazing feat. I get choked up just thinking about it.
I love doing voiceovers. It's a fun way to make a living. Then I get to do stuff like this and it reminds me that it's about more than just making money or getting to make goofy sounds.
We can contribute, even in a small way, to something that's really important. Something that touches the lives of others in a profound manner.
So here's to you, Pumpkin and Cracker. Your brothers & sisters found a forever home.
Yay, beagles!
