The Gold Standard of Voice Over Client Appreciation
In my 30+ year voice over journey, a few moments have truly stood out – sometimes, those moments relate to how clients acknowledge the hard work of not just myself, but the entire team behind the project. Recently, I had an experience that I wanted to share, as it highlights a practice I wish every client would adopt.
Acknowledging the Entire Team
I recently got cast to voice some commercials for a company called Postscript.io. A huge thank you to @cinemadness, who posted the spots on social media. But what made this particularly noteworthy was that they took the time and effort to credit the entire cast and crew in the post!
Why Proper Credit is Crucial
This might seem like a small gesture, but in an industry where many contributors often remain unseen or uncredited, it means a a lot. Recognizing everyone who played a part – from us voice over & on-camera actors to the production team – not only shows respect for their craft but also helps to build a stronger, more collaborative community.
Where to See the Work (and Meet Bub!)
Wanna see the spots? Check out @cinemadness's Instagram profile. I had the opportunity to voice "Bub," the friendly little AI floating ghost dude. You can find the four videos I worked on located just below the Doordash spots and a bit farther down at the "Be Not Afraid" video.

A Positive Experience All Around
Bringing Bub to life was awesome, but seeing the client go the extra mile to ensure everyone received credit? That's the stuff that makes you appreciate the gig even more. It's a simple yet powerful way to acknowledge the collective effort that goes into creating great content.
Kudos to clients like @cinemadness who understand the value of giving proper props and celebrating the entire creative team. It really makes a difference!
