I had the distinct honor and pleasure of speaking at the Voice Actors of NYC’s inaugural (and one-of-a-kind) voiceover business & marketing conference, VOcation NYC.

This is truly a unique event! Never before has anyone attempted to create a conference dedicated solely to the business & marketing side of voiceovers. And they did it oh-so-well.

This three-day event was jam-packed with invaluable content. Everything from marketing tips to website info to legal advice were presented in highly-informative breakout sessions. The panels were stacked with agents, production companies, and even notables from ACX and Voiceovers.com. Even yours truly got to present a session about the virtues of Direct Marketing…

I did the math and I’m pretty sure VOcation NYC was the 22nd voiceover conference I’ve attended. Wow! VOcation ranks pretty high up there.
