Whaddaya Want From My Life? – The GKN Weekly Update 1/7/14

Hello and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Amateur Night.

NEWS AND NOTES!

This is the trailer for the next film I’m in! It’s called “She Wolf”. Well, sort of in. I’m the dude on the phone.

I’m narrating the new Nat Geo Wild TV show “We Move Animals”.

It will premiere on Saturday January 18th at 10:00 PM EST. Click here to learn more!

Judith Arnold, author of the romance novel “Safe Harbor” that I narrated last year, has chosen me to narrate her “Daddy School” series! I will do the first three this year. Click here to learn more!

I’m kicking off 2014 with a question: what do you want from me?

In other words, what can I do to serve you via The Good Karma Network?

Voicers: what do you want me to talk about? Are there any particular facets of the voiceover industry you’d like me to chime in on?

Clients: what content would you like to see? How can I help you understand how we as voice talents can make your lives easier? Are there any “mysteries” you’d like some light shed on?

Everyone: would you like to be a guest blogger? Fellow voice talents, agents, producers, casting directors, sound engineers, even someone who is not connected to the voiceover industry would be welcome to contribute. You can talk about anything you want as along as it isn’t political, religious, or sexual (well, maybe sexual) and everyone can relate to it at least thematically. Let me know if you’re interested!

TIP OF THE WEEK: Below is Woody Guthrie’s New Year’s Resolutions (or Rulin’s as he put it) for 1942. Click on the image to get a closer look. While I frequently talk about the folly of New Year’s Resolutions (vague goals will get you vague results and so forth), what he wrote was sublime! Take it to heart and let it help you remember what’s important. Oh, and you gotta love the little pictures he drew next to the Rulin’s!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

STUFF!: Which Woody Guthrie Rulin is your favorite? Mine is #18!
